Acceptable Use Policy

This policy exists to protect customers, Vendors, Riders and the integrity of the Locafind marketplace.

Every user of the Platform agrees to use Locafind lawfully and in a manner that is safe, respectful and consistent with our rules.

Vendors may list and sell only lawful physical products that comply with Nigerian law and Locafind’s policies.

Examples of permitted categories include:

• Groceries
• Fresh produce
• Restaurants and packaged food
• Fashion and clothing
• Shoes
• Electronics
• Mobile phones and accessories
• Beauty products
• Personal care products
• Home and kitchen products
• Office supplies
• Stationery
• Books
• Baby products
• Pet supplies
• Automotive accessories
• Hardware
• Building materials
• Agricultural products
• Flowers
• Gifts

Locafind may add or remove product categories over time as our marketplace evolves.

Vendors must:

• Provide accurate product descriptions.
• Upload genuine product photographs.
• Keep inventory up to date.
• Sell only products they are legally permitted to sell.
• Honour accepted orders.
• Maintain accurate pricing.
• Provide truthful business information.
• Comply with applicable Nigerian laws.
• Cooperate with verification and compliance requests.

Customers must:

• Provide accurate delivery addresses.
• Treat Vendors and Riders respectfully.
• Pay honestly.
• Avoid fraudulent refund requests.
• Avoid abusive behaviour.
• Provide truthful account information.
• Use the Platform lawfully.

Riders must:

• Handle orders professionally.
• Deliver orders to the correct customer.
• Protect customer information.
• Never tamper with packages.
• Never request payments outside the Platform.
• Report suspicious activity.
• Comply with applicable laws.

Users must not:

• Commit payment fraud.
• Circumvent payment systems.
• Manipulate order disputes, refunds or settlements.
• Use stolen payment methods.
• Create fake accounts.
• Abuse promotions or referral programmes.
• Manipulate reviews or ratings.
• Submit false refund requests.
• Commit chargeback fraud.
• Use automated tools or bots to abuse the Platform.

Users must not:

• Hack or attempt to compromise the Platform.
• Reverse engineer the Platform.
• Attempt unauthorized access.
• Introduce malware or malicious code.
• Spam other users.
• Scrape Platform data without authorization.
• Interfere with Platform operations.
• Impersonate another person or business.
• Create multiple accounts to evade enforcement.

Locafind may remove product listings, hide products from search, suspend or terminate accounts, delay settlements while investigations are ongoing, request additional identity or business verification, cooperate with payment providers and cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.

Enforcement actions depend on the severity and frequency of the violation.

Users may report fraud, counterfeit products, unsafe products, illegal products, suspicious Vendors, payment fraud and platform abuse.

Locafind investigates reports in good faith. Knowingly submitting false or malicious reports may itself violate this policy.

Locafind may update this policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the Platform or by email where appropriate.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
