Terms & Conditions

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not share your account with others
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

Customer Accounts: For browsing and purchasing from vendors

Vendor Accounts: For businesses selling products and services

Vendor accounts require additional verification and must provide business documentation.

You may use LocaFind to:

• Browse and discover local vendors
• Purchase products and services
• Sell products (if you have a vendor account)
• Leave reviews and ratings
• Communicate with vendors about orders

You may NOT:

• Use the Platform for illegal purposes
• Sell counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited items
• Manipulate prices, reviews, or ratings
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Scrape, copy, or steal content from the Platform
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the Platform
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the system
• Spam users with unwanted messages
• Circumvent fees or payment processing

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Vendors must:

• Provide accurate product descriptions, images, and prices
• Keep inventory updated to reflect availability
• Honor listed prices and delivery terms
• Not mislead customers about products or services

Vendors agree to:

• Accept or decline orders within 24 hours
• Fulfill orders accurately and on time
• Provide quality products as described
• Communicate clearly with customers about order status
• Process refunds when appropriate

Vendors must:

• Comply with all applicable business laws and regulations
• Have proper licenses and permits to operate
• Pay all applicable taxes
• Follow health and safety standards (for food vendors)

Customers pay vendors directly through our payment processing partners. By making a purchase, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the total order amount.

All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

During the beta period, LocaFind does not charge vendor fees. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with advance notice.

Refund eligibility depends on the vendor's refund policy and the specific circumstances. LocaFind facilitates refunds but is not responsible for issuing them.

Common refund scenarios:

• Vendor cancels or cannot fulfill order
• Product is significantly different from description
• Product is damaged or defective
• Order is not delivered within reasonable time

Contact the vendor first to resolve payment issues. If unresolved, contact LocaFind support at hello@locafind.ng within 14 days of the transaction.

1. Customer places order
2. Vendor accepts or declines within 24 hours
3. Customer pays (for delivery orders)
4. Vendor prepares order
5. Order is delivered or picked up
6. Customer confirms receipt

Vendors are responsible for delivery. Delivery times are estimates and may vary. LocaFind is not liable for delivery delays or issues.

For pickup orders, customers must collect orders within the agreed timeframe. Uncollected orders may be cancelled by the vendor.

By Customers:

• Before vendor acceptance: Free cancellation
• After acceptance (pickup): May be cancelled, no refund needed
• After payment uploaded (delivery): Cannot cancel

By Vendors:

• Before acceptance: Can decline with reason
• After acceptance: Must provide valid reason, full refund issued

All content on LocaFind (logo, design, text, graphics, code) is owned by LocaFind and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without permission.

By posting content (photos, reviews, descriptions), you grant LocaFind a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Platform.

You retain ownership of your content but represent that:

• You own the content or have permission to post it
• The content doesn't infringe anyone's rights
• The content is accurate and not misleading

LocaFind is a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are NOT:

• A party to transactions between customers and vendors
• Responsible for product quality, accuracy, or safety
• Liable for vendor actions or customer behavior
• A guarantor of delivery or fulfillment

The Platform is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

LocaFind is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in fees (if any) in the past 6 months.

Disputes between customers and vendors should be resolved directly between the parties. LocaFind may facilitate communication but is not obligated to resolve disputes.

If you have a dispute with LocaFind, contact us at hello@locafind.ng. We'll work in good faith to resolve issues.

These Terms are governed by Nigerian law. Any legal disputes will be resolved in Nigerian courts.

You can delete your account anytime through account settings or by emailing hello@locafind.ng

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Receive excessive complaints
• Are inactive for an extended period

We'll notify you before termination except in cases of serious violations or legal requirements.

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LocaFind.

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Our failure to enforce any right doesn't mean we've waived that right.

You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to another entity.
